TWINS!

sent along these sets, as well as some of my sized 12 month shoes to a friend having twins, a boy and a girl!  it's such a gift to share in this new journey.  i wanted colors a little different than traditionally done for boys and girls but still honoring the beauty that is being a brother and sister pair and the bond of twins. the fabric is a light weight and soft organic cotton jersey from organic cotton plus.

kcw: summer edition

 my littlest nephew turned one so i stitched up a little fishin' romper for him! his dad's serious into fishing so i figured it'd be a hit and i am lovin' the one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish vibe, classic!  i used an organic cotton interlock from nearsea naturals, which has since joined organic forces with organic cotton plus.

the pattern is by bonnie of fishsticks designs.  she is my go-to for classic styles that are sized perfectly for children.  i have never been disappointed with my final product with her patterns!

i am a firm believer that boys need awesome hats. so along with a romper, my nephew got a reversible newsboy cap. summer anchors on one side and ready-for-fall brown cord on the other.
